So, as most of you know, Julie and I are in rehearsals for a play out in Sandy. Opening Night is in 2 and a half weeks, on Friday, April 25th. Performances are Friday & Saturday nights @ 8pm, Sunday nights @ 6pm. Tickets are $12, unless there's a prepaid reservation of 10 or more; then they're $10, and you get reserved seating.

For those of you who came to see my show out there last spring, you remember what a blast we had that night, including the after-party at our house. The Groove Bomb was an awesome addition to the whole evening, providing fun-filled transpo for the group. I'd love to be have another night like this for this show, which, in my humble opinion, will be even better than last year. I have a much more significant role in this play as the Villain in this melodrama, so you will all get a chance to really see what Drew Can Do as a Comedic Actor On Stage. Not to mention the fabulous debut of my dear Julie as Nellie, The Beautiful Cloak Model.

Julie & I ready & willing to host the after party again at our house. What I'm unable to do is organize getting everybody out there on the same night. Last year, Julie handled all of this, but she can't do it this time, so I'm hoping one of my friends can handle this for us.

What I'm asking of one of you is if you'd be willing to coordinate & organize the date, reservations, and see if the Groove Bomb is willing & available to make this run again? If the Groove Bomb is indeed going to participate this time, there is a monetary consideration for this, too. In addition to party snacks, beer, & wine, I can contribute up to $50 towards the bus for this, but the rest will have to come from donations from those riding.

Any weekend during the run will be fine, either a Friday or Saturday would be best. I'm going to venture a guess and say that a Friday will be preferred by most. We run for 5 weeks, closing on Saturday, May 24th.

So, any takers, please? I promise my brother will not be bringing his drunken drama queen this time.
